Tom Curren is so f*cking cool. Really, he’s one of the most legendary surfers that continues to inspire hundreds of thousands of surfers from around the world. He’s one of those rare figures in the surfing community who will be talked about long after he is gone. Even at 50 years old, Tom Curren rips harder than most surfers half his age. I mean, look what he did to Occy in the Heritage Series at J-Bay this year. He beat the snot out of him; Occy didn’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell. Pat rips, too, but he’s got some pretty big shoes to fill. We love you, Tom. Keep it alive.
