Nearly 100 hungry surfers jacked up on multiple cups of coffee took to Mavericks on Saturday in hopes to ride a few behemoths with the rest of the residents of Northern California. Not only was the line-up tipping maximum occupancy, but I’m pretty sure I saw a few houseboats in the channel barbequing some dogs and drinking margaritas with the whole fam. Regardless of the fact that it was a scene, Mavericks was doing its thing and the surfers were straight charging. No shortage of thrills and spills on this gloomy day.
