Brazil’s Marcio Freire headed to Jaws when it lit up last week. In a pack of chargers, he picked out a beast, stoked his heart and soul into it, and put thew his luck to the wind. Of course, the wind happened to be a hard offshore, and it caused more than a few problems–like somersaulting down the face.
Adam Ireland happened to be on hand to catch the carnage on camera, and now it’s an entry into the Wiepout of the Year category of the 2015 XXL Big Wave Awards.
