Over the past few years, Chris Burkard has become nearly synonymous with the exploration of Earth and its ever-beautiful expanse. Both as a surf photographer and off-piste adventurer, his trips to ethereal yet often harsh locales set many imaginations to flight; he has shown countless people the sensational spectacles that are the natural wonders of our planet, spectacles they would otherwise never see. And now he brings those imaginative sights to our children, in tandem with Disney Interactive artist David McClellan, who illustrated the endeavor.
But as with many creative projects these days, the dynamic duo is looking for a hand. They recently launched a Kickstarter campaign that with over 30 days to go is a little under halfway to their goal of $25,000.

The Earth responds and sends the boy on a journey to some of the landscapes that make the Earth most proud. In the end, the boy learns that happiness is harder to find than he expected.”
