Ryan Seelbach is a standout at Maverick’s–which is not an easy place to be a standout. It attracts the best big wave surfers in the world, so to be among the best of the best is no small deal.
But Seelbach isn’t making a living from surfing some of the most dangerous waves in the world. Like many others, he works in an office building in front of a computer. When Maverick’s is firing, though, staring at a computer can be difficult when all you want to be doing is staring over a ledge of a giant wave.
