Waking up before the sun to a bitter cold morning in Torquay is no simple task. However, for the surfers on tour, it’s all apart of the job. Or at least it is for some guys. Some are up before everyone else doing pushups in the parking lot at 4 a.m while others need to see the sun and drink a warm cup of joe before paddling out. This year, it seems like team Hawaii takes the cake for the most dedicated dawn patrollers.
