Probably one of the better installments of Every Third Thursday that Signal has produced and hands-down one of the best DIY projects I’ve come across. And all the pieces were bought at the local home improvement store — which actually might have been the most entertaining part, them determining which materials had traits that would transfer well to snow-surf craft. Dry wall? Insulation? Shower wall?
Then there was the on-going debate of materials versus cost. At $100, costs was definitely within reason. And from the looks of it being tested on the mountain…

…looks like the materials were just fine. Seriously. SO MUCH FUN. They mentioned that it was a little on the stiffer side (as fence post and that aforementioned shower wall might be), but that made for one fast board that had no problem locking onto rails.
We know what we’re doing this off-season. All smiles indeed.
