You know that moment in the middle of the night when you’re not quite sure if you’re asleep or awake? Yeah, well, that’s probably what Derek Dunfee, Nic Lamb, Oscar Moncado, Jappey, and Tim Reyes were thinking when they pulled up to the beach and saw waves this perfect coming through. Now it may not be the death-defying Puerto that went down when Mark Healey caught arguably the biggest wave ever paddled into, but it’s still freaking awesome.
