A routine patrol off the coast of Central America suddenly turned into a drug search with a twist in this video. Coming across something suspicious floating in the water, the crew assumed they had found a package of drugs, given they were navigating a known drug-trafficking zone. Instead, they found two turtles attached to the makeshift buoys, tangled up in fishing lines. The rest is a dash to save the turtles, with one of them suffocating by the minute.
Thankfully we get to say there is a happy ending to this one.
