Whale sharks are big and slow and beautiful and vulnerable. Like many sharks, they need to keep moving to breath. As the largest fish in the ocean, the only real predator of them is… you guessed it: us. And their numbers aren’t doing that hot, either.
That said, seeing one in the wild would be pretty incredible. Riding one, however, would not be. Riding one is stupid. So don’t do this. Ever.
