Founders Dion Agius, Kai Neville, and Mitch Coleborn just added their newest member to the EPØKHE family. After the crazy success of Globe’s Strange Rumblings and being one of California’s most stylish surfers it was only natural Nate Tyler join the team. We caught up with Nate to get the full scoop. Here’s what he had to say:
Where ya been? Where ya goin’? Psyched to join the Epokhe team?
I have been running around like a mad man. Just got home from a really fun trip down to Australia. I was hanging and surfing with Dion. So damn amped to be a part of the team now.
How was it surfing and working on Strange Rumblings with Dion, Mitch, Creed, and the other Epokhe guys? Who was going bananas?
Man, that project was one best times of my life. We had such amazing trips and waves. It was about as good as it gets. All of the boys were going so crazy everywhere.
It was probably pretty natural for you to join the Epokhe family, but how will things change now that you’re on the team?
Yeah, it was a real nice and it was a smooth transition, as those are all my best of friends. I hope nothing actually changes because I love it how it is at the moment. Hopefully we just get to work on more projects together.
Favorite pair of sunnies?
I really like the BORIS. Those are my favorite frames.
Any new projects, trips, movies you can talk about?
I am working on my own little project right now with my friend Victor Pakpour. We have done a couple of trips and we’re going to put out a little short. The project is called M U T E and it’s coming together quite nicely. We will be premiering at the end of July at Lido theatre in Newport Beach.
