May was a month of some of the craziest Puerto Escondido ever. Some of the biggest and best waves ever ridden… and some of the biggest and best wipeouts. This one in particular was a very, very bad one. Or very, very good, depending on how much you like horrible wipeouts.
Brazil’s Pedro Calado dropped in to a pretty-much-perfect wave just a little bit too late in the first week of May. And man oh man, did things go wrong.
