Early in July, a man was bass fishing with his dog Leia on Criccieth Beach. Leia was off exploring, and he was taking a few photos of the scenery when the dog started barking at him from further down the beach. “Clearly, she had found something!” he said in the Youtube description.
When he began walking towards her to find out what she was barking about, he realized that a baby dolphin had stranded itself in the shallows. “If it wasn’t for my dog barking at me I would have missed him, too,” he continued. “This little guy was lucky, as there was nobody around for miles!”
After herding the confused little guy out to sea, he called the Coast Guard and let them know. But if it wasn’t for Leia, he might’ve just walked right by.
