Not to jump the gun here, but judging from the trailer, View From a Blue Moon looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the greatest surf films of all time. John John Florence and acclaimed filmmaker Blake Kueny have been putting in time for the last three years… and it shows. How many years does it take, after all, to get that shot with a bird chilling on John John’s head? When John John’s surfing is coupled with cinematography like the stuff above, well, shit’s about to get real.
