“All I have are these bones, this bag of bones.” And apparently a whole lot of confidence along with a high threshold for fear. At least there goes the soundtrack to BMX biker Drew Benzanson’s life.
The Canadian went no-holds-nor-heights-barred in manufacturing his own ramps for this most recent expedition into the land of crazy, and he came out alive and well, having conquered one thing, ready to chase the next. (The freefloating wallride starts at the 1:50 mark.)
“My goal on this project was to ride stuff that would really scare me,” Benzanson told Red Bull. “To push my personal limits on a bike and to ride stuff I would never get the opportunity to ride unless it was built.”
Built it was.

The crew of ramp builders led by Nate Wessel put hammer to nail so to speak outside of Benzanson’s hometown of Truro, Nova Scotia — and that is about as much information as they’re willing to offer. How high is that back flip and tail whip off the stack of four containers? 10.52 meters or about 35 feet, same as a four-story building. That is what you call truly “uncontainable.”
As for the bike? It survived.
