Adam has been a professional meteorologist and surf forecaster since 1999 and has worked for many of the popular surf sites including Transworld SURF, Surfline, Wavewatch, and FuelTV, and has been published in many of their print counterparts. Currently he is the Chief Forecaster responsible for letting us know when we should ditch the computers for either a quick session to our local breaks or an epic trip across the world. Adam focuses on providing easy-to-understand, (and hopefully entertaining surf forecasts). While Adam’s day to day forecasts focus on locations mostly in the Pacific Ocean forecast (Hawaii, Pacific NW, California, Mexico, Central America, and South America.) he does keep close tabs on global conditions, large weather cycles like El Nino and other long-term ocean circulation issues, and will does produce forecasts for random locations worldwide. Adam resides in Huntington Beach, CA with his wife Karyn, two sons Jack and Robbie, and bullmastiff Kelly-dog.
