Growing up on the South Shore of Long Island, Brian Shannon always had a relationship with the ocean. His parents belonged to a surf club where for the first eleven years of his life, he was exposed to the surf. He surfed for the first time when he was ten years old and the next summer, he was in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, where he surfed everyday on vacation. He was hooked. Recently Brian has combined his love of the ocean with his passion for photography. Brian shoots mainly photographs of Long Island beaches and waves with his GoPro Hero3 Silver and Canon DSLR.
