Bryant Thomas grew up in surfing in Charleston, South Carolina, at a little nugget called The Washout. It was here where he hunkered down in a dark room in to study film production at Trident Technical College. During this time, the 18-year-old shot, edited and produced his first local surf film, Waves in Our Pocket, with the help of his brothers. Soon after, Bryant hit the road to work on his sophomore film effort, Look to the Tropics, which he released in October 2012 at the ripe old age of 20. Over the last few years, the 2012 South Carolina State Surfing Champion has worked as a freelance videographer, focusing primarily on professional surfing where his desire to put clips in the can has led him to Australia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Hawaii.
