Crystal grew up in Manhattan Beach, Calif. and regularly surfs the ever-changing break of El Porto as well as the perfect jetties off of Newport Beach. Immersed in several years of pro surf events including X Games Surfing, the ISA World Surfing Games and the Commonwealth Beachley Classic, Crystal also writes for ESPN HS and is proud to call several of the world's top surfers, friends.
