A Marine Veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, Daniel lost both his legs and part of his hand after stepping on an IED on December 16th, 2010. Not letting his injuries define him, he can be found surfing, skiing, mountain biking and any other adventure that comes his way. Living in Edwards, CO is a full-time student at Colorado Mountain College.
