Dave “Mouse” Friesen was raised on the Central Coast of California in the small town of Cayucos. He currently live in Pismo Beach, California. He's been surfing for 36 years and competing for 27 years. His writing has been published in several magazines, including Surfer, Deep, Surfwriter’s Quarterly, Wave Action, King Surfer, Surfwanderer, and Santa Barbara Surfer. Dave is a family oriented man, as he is married with four children.
