João Pedro Rocha was born in 1985 in Oporto, Portugal, a city in which he still lives today. Since an early age João Pedro has had a great connection to the sea and rivers and water sports. The passion for photography arose four years ago and shortly afterwards he decided to take a photography course at the IPF in Oporto (Portuguese Institute of Photography). João currently works as a freelance photographer in many areas between photojournalism, architecture, advertising, products and surf/bodyboard photography. He has had his photographs published in various surf and bodyboard magazines and websites.
