Lauren Blickley is a Marine Biologist/surfer girl based on the island of Maui. She holds a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami (Florida), and a Master of Environmental Science from the Bren School at UCSB. When not working, Lauren can typically be found either on top of the waves or exploring the underwater world. She abhors single-use plastics and is a dedicated member of the Surfrider Foundation. As an ocean advocate, Lauren seeks to inspire action at the individual level. She has an obsession with seashells and enjoys traveling to far flung lands with her husband, always in search of perfect waves.
