Originally from France, Laurent Chantegros moved to California during is 23rd birthday. He currently resides in San Diego. He started photography 25 years ago, spending countless hours in his darkroom processing black and white films. The last few years, Laurent shared his time between studio and sport photography. Recently, his interest shifted to surf photography. He is now spending most of his time in the waters of Southern California capturing the lifestyle and culture of surfing.
