Matt Degreff was born in Miami but moved to West Africa for seven years when he was only 2. His parents are seasoned travelers and gave him the bug from them early. His father was a surfer growing up in the Dominican Republic, and he got Matt a board and took him when he was a kid. Not much later, he got his first camera, and the two just sort of came together.
