Originally a beach bum from Orange County, California, Mimi Lopour traded sand for snow and has lived in Park City, Utah, Queenstown, New Zealand and Portland, Oregon. Mimi graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006 with a B.A. in Film Studies. Soon after she became online editor of Snowboarder Magazine and in 2010 moved to Park City to become the Interactive Content Editor for Park City Mountain Resort. After chasing the winter from the Southern Hemisphere back to the United States, Mimi began working for High Cascade Snowboard Camp where she has been able to share her love of snowboarding with the next generation. Mimi is almost always found with her sidekick, Koa, a quirky Yorkie who has traveled on over 20 airplanes, visited 10 different states, and been photographed by more snowboarding photographers than most snowboarders.
