Calling June Lake, California home for the past 19 years, Nate Deschenes has been snowboarding since the early nineties and writing about it for almost as long. As the Senior Editor of Snowboard Magazine, Nate has found the perfect racket that not only spreads his often whimsical opinions but keeps him powder drunk almost half of the year. In the summer, his Sierra Smoke Shack caters to local fisherman with the Eastern Sierra’s best smoked trout.
