Ocean Ramsey is one of the world's leading shark researchers and divers. "I hope to inspire a shift from fear to fascination," says Ramsey. "I'm grateful to be a part of that, to start to create those conversations around sharks: What are they really like? It's fear to fascination, replacing fear with scientific facts and allowing people to see another side, and actually, the reality." Ramsey operates One Ocean Diving in Haleiwa, Hawaii, and also runs the nonprofit Ocean Inspired, which is dedicated to shark research and conservation. "Inspiration is actually the approach that I love to take for conservation," says Ramsey.
