Ryan is an author, lawyer, and loves longboarding like Spicoli – if he rode one. As a teenager, Ryan ran the streets with a cocaine cowboy in L.A. After Ryan reacquainted with his inner nerd, he graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and Tulane Law School. Recently, his memoir, Living on the Happy Edge of Anarchy, was rated one of the top 10 hot new comedy releases by Amazon. Ryan is a volunteer with the Surfrider Foundation and is also a partner in Sanders Long LLP, where he provides legal counseling to clients in intellectual property, litigation, and corporate matters. Clients include Grammy award winning recording artists, surf shops, CFDA fashion designers, and entrepreneurs working in media, technology, and entertainment.
