Born and raised in the Sunshine State, Sam Hayworth has been in the surf his whole life, growing up on Florida’s east coast and taking his first lessons from local surf legend Mimi Munro. Now an avid surfer and seasonal member of the Volusia County Beach Lifeguard Corps, he’s followed his love of surfing to some legendary breaks in SoCal and Costa Rica and done mission work with Christian Surfers International in El Salvador. A vocal advocate for the sport, Sam is looking forward to a lifetime of surf adventures around the world but is currently a pre-med student-athlete at Eastern Kentucky University – way too far from any decent surf – working to become an emergency physician.
