Scott “Metz” Metzner is an artist out of San Clemente, California. He started painting surfboards in high school at the San Clemente Surf Company and Lost Surfboards. Guys like Jimmy Nudo, Matt Bioles, Suds, Sean Spoto, Chad Carothers, Drew Brophy, and Mike Reola serve as inspiration to Scott’s career. In addition to surfboard artists, Scott is inspired by artists, such as Banksy, Shepard Fairy, Dave Kinsey, and Tiffany Bozic, Salvador Dali, and Andy Warhol. Scott is humbled to work with Timmy Patterson Surfboards in San Clemente creating original designs for local surfers and customers abroad.
