Spencer Barnes is an ocean-addicted photographer from Cronulla, Sydney, Australia. When you come in from a swim and you see the best few shots you captured, you get pretty stoked and you're happy with them at the time, but when you see them at a later date, you can really be unsatisfied with them. Unfortunately, there is always a slight flaw in a photo that just irritates him every time he sees it. It’s that irritation that fuels Spencer to take photos every day in search of the "perfect image." He plans to be a professional photographer within surfing for either a magazine or other brand, traveling the world shooting amazing locations. He's not in it for the money, but rather to have fun doing what he loves – shooting as well as surfing. Spencer doesn’t really know why he takes photos; but one day the waves were really good, and after surfing for several hours, he simply was surfed out so he picked up his dad's old Canon and started to shoot some friends. Before he knew it, he was addicted, shooting every day. Spencer learned more and more and soon realized it's what he wanted to do with his life. His favorite place to shoot is Cape Solander (Ours).
