Tao Farren-Hefer is a Cape Town, South Africa-based filmmaker and Photographer. As a surfer, his subject matter tends to revolve around the in-born longing for the ocean, and others who share this undeniable pull. Initially filming Mikey February on a borrowed handy-cam at 16 years old, he now works locally and internationally, on surf, documentary and brand projects. His primary focus is capturing the passion and essence of the human character, in stories of hope and transformation.
