Katy Perry gave a weather report yesterday in Australia while the ladies competed at the Roxy Pro Gold Coast. Mid-report, a line flashed on the screen announcing Steph Gilmore’s advancement to the quarterfinals, where she defeated Courtney Conlogue by a score of 15.43 to 13.50. This later appeared on Katy Perry’s Instagram, which made its way around the internet faster than you could say “Snapper Rocks.”
