President Trump is clearly enamored with himself. He actually says he someday sees himself joining the legendary presidential figures on Mt. Rushmore. It’s also a fact that Trump’s environmental record is less than stellar. That’s why a Finnish environmental group is raising money to carve Trump’s head into an iceberg in an effort dubbed, “Project Trumpmore.”
“Global warming is one of the most important issues and topics of today,” wrote Nicolas Prieto, who heads the group, Melting Ice, which is raising money for the project that will be carried out by Finnish and Mongolian ice sculptors. “There are still people who ponder whether it’s a real issue. We want to build the monument for all of us, so we can see how long the sculpture lasts before melting. Often people only believe something when they see it with their own eyes.”
