This summer’s south swells in Southern California have been less than stellar. But the water temperature has been gloriously trunk-able and bikini-able. And surfers and assorted frolickers haven’t been the only ones enjoying them.
At least one hammerhead shark has been basking in the warmth, too. This one was caught on camera last week off Newport by a drone from whale-watching outfit Newport Coastal Adventure. Probably waiting around for another South to light up the Wedge.
