All the moments in between the turn, the air or the landing — seconds, minutes, hours, and days you spend planning, traveling, sitting on the chairlift, waiting for the tram, hiking out, hiking in, observing nature around up close and from afar — in pursuit of those moments when the boots strap into the bindings and you descend the mountain. These are the times I see as being just as meaningful and rewarding as being on edge, in the white room, or looking down at the landing from above.
