The Inertia

On average, six hours on the slopes burns around 3,000 calories. That’s a LOT of energy to burn. To make the most of your day on the mountain, you’ll need to get your muscles ready ahead of time. This means it’s time to ramp up your exercise routine with a hearty dose of cardio and strength training. This super challenging 30 minute workout offers just that. With squats, twists, jumps, and dips, this workout will definitely get you sweating. If you can’t finish it on your first attempt, rest, hydrate, and come back to it 20 minutes later. Additionally, don’t try this workout the day before you head up the mountain. Your body may need time to recover, and it’s no use tiring out your legs right before you ski. If you commit to this workout over the course of several weeks, you might surprise yourself. You may just ski your strongest yet.
