The Inertia

This banana berry hempseed pudding is a pretty ideal weekend treat. It’s sweet, but it’s also packed with vitamins and nutrients. Not to mention it requires pretty minimal effort: all you need is a blender. It might taste like dessert, but with bananas, berries, hemp seeds, and chia seeds, you can justify it any time of the day.

Ingredients

2 just ripe bananas, peeled

2 cups berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries…whatever you like)

2 tbsp light coconut milk or almond milk

2 tbsp hemp seeds

2 tbsp chia seeds

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

optional: maple syrup or pitted dates to taste

Instructions

-Add the bananas, berries, and milk to a blender/food processor. Mix until thoroughly combined. Adjust sweetness to taste with maple syrup or pitted dates. If added, blend these together as well.

-Add in the hemp seeds, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Pulse to combine these into the mixture.

-Pour into serving dishes (about 3-4).

-Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (ideally overnight).

-Serve and enjoy!
