I think most people agree that having a strong core is preferable to having a weak one. Some might base this conclusion on appearance, others might base this on strength and stability.
However, while most agree on the end goal of building a strong core, many disagree on the best way to go about doing so. Typically, abdominal workouts include a number of crunch variations. Sure, this can build ab strength, but it doesn’t change the fact that some of us hate crunches. It turns out that there are other methods of working out the core that can be both more effective and more enjoyable than the dreaded set of crunches.
This 10-minute workout incorporates a number of different abdominal exercises. It’s guaranteed to have your stomach and core burning, and it skips crunches completely. As always, please use caution when attempting this exercise series. Preventing injury is key.
