The Inertia

For surfers, it’s easier to overlook basic cardio fitness routines and activities. After all, it’s tempting to focus on targeted routines that build up muscles commonly used for paddling i.e. the shoulders and back. However, the truth is that cardio is an essential component of surfing, especially when there’s real swell, and it’s well-worth your time to incorporate cardio into your regular fitness routine. This hour-long workout steps up the intensity, and it will definitely get your heart beating. Additionally, it focuses energy on the abs and obliques. Give it a try, and don’t be afraid to push yourself. However, be sure to use caution when attempting these exercises.
