The restaurant is offering the coupon code as a peace offering, as it was forced to close its doors for lunch today. Unfortunately, the chain has struggled with a E. coli contamination over the past couple months, although this issue has now been resolved. However, the restaurant remained closed today so all employees can attend a companywide meeting. Doors will reopen at 3 pm today in each respective timezone.
Besides its recent issues, Chipotle is known for responsibly sourcing its ingredients and bringing customers whole, fresh, foods. Their meat is responsibly raised, and they skip the artificial ingredients and fillers.
