Sometimes you just want a milkshake. It might be middle of the day on Wednesday, or it might be Sunday night, but when the milkshake craving strikes, oftentimes you just can’t shake it. Instead of driving to Carl’s Jr. make this healthy shake instead. It’s deliciously sweet and creamy, but it doesn’t contain all the chemicals and processed crap of a fast food shake.
Ingredients
2/3 cup frozen strawberries
2 ripe bananas
1 cup coconut milk (full fat for a creamier texture)
1 cup ice water or coconut water
1/2 tsp vanilla
lemon zest as desired
Instructions
-Blend ingredients together.
-Pour into 2 serving cups.
-Top with sliced berries and whipped cream if desired.
