In one of the weirdest scenes ever recorded on video, a woman who hit a deer last week in New Jersey was attacked by the animal in response. As a police officer approaches from behind, the deer runs out from the side of the road and goes after the driver as she was opening the door. The driver actually has to fight the angry animal away. “In what appears to be a scene from a cheap comedy, (the driver, identified as Ellen) Sager physically struggles with the rather large deer and has to kick the deer out of her vehicle and quickly close the door to keep it out,” Howell, New Jersey police wrote in a news release.
Unfortunately, the deer died from the initial impact in the accident. But it definitely was out for retribution.
