So, uh, this is just a tad frightening. A while back, wingsuit aficionado Alex Girard piloted his way underneath a slackline and through a narrow crack at Stawamus Chief, just outside of his native Squamish, B.C., during a recent flight that’s sure to give you anxiety.
The dangers of whizzing past canyon walls or under an anchored bit of nylon webbing that crosses the length of the canyon go without saying. But to watch that canyon slowly narrow and narrow as Girard gains speed only to open up to the alpine valley below is sure to induce mild claustrophobia.
