One thing is certain: Chloe Kim cares about more than just shredding. The two-time Olympic gold medalist balanced competition with college at Princeton. And recently, she was captured on Mammoth Mountain helping a stranded snowboarder down the mountain in between training runs. First, Kim tries to lend a hand, showing the novice how to turn. Then she simply piggy-backs her down the slope. And this wasn’t her first time helping the less seasoned among us.

“Chloe helped my nephew out of a tree well years ago,” wrote one commenter on the post from Mammoth Mountain. “We still talk about it. She’s the best!!”

The best part? None of it seems manufactured. The woman didn’t even know who Kim was.

Only the best. We promise.
