If you haven’t been to Grand Targhee, in far western Wyoming accessible through the rad little eastern Idaho town of Driggs, go, now. Light, dry snow, fun terrain and a small resort vibe that’s tough to find these days are just a few of the perks. Plus you might save yourself a few bucks. Plus they host fun events like this one.
In the last several years, bindingless board riding has become more popular in mountain enclaves around the country. The reason? Simplicity. You simply need a board, a pair of good hiking boots and a decent slope. Earlier this month, Targhee teamed with Grassroots Powdersurfing for a cool little demo at the resort. The results? A whole lotta fun. We’re not gonna call this demo the first of its kind because, well, that’d be tough to verify. But there should definitely be a lot more of them.
