COVID-19 did a number on the second half of the snow season this year. Resorts were shuttered, riders sent packing, events cancelled. Unless you knew how to peruse the backcountry – in which case it was a stellar end to the season – you were mostly stuck sitting on your hands.
But alas, there’s always 2020-2021 to look forward to. And at this point, we’re going with the glass-is-half-full mantra, optimistically thinking there’s going to be a season. Hence Scurvy – A Snowboard Film Made in the Age of the Pandemic. Burton Australia-NZ and a plethora of gifted riders combined forces to make this gem of a mid-summer flick (mid-winter if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere). So enjoy. And dream on.
