Yep, this drainage ditch is actually a thing in the kayaking world. Still, this line from professional whitewater kayaker Aniol Serrasolses is nothing short of nutty – and it’s not even in a river. We don’t know how fast he’s going here, but if the fact he hashtagged the post #fastAF on Instagram is any indication, the guy’s not lacking for speed–and no wonder, since he’s dropping some 800 meters into Lions Bay, British Columbia. This little drainage ditch has become an annual stop of sorts for kayakers making the pilgrimage to run the wealth of B.C. whitewater that often comes in during the late summer or early fall as the water recedes.
