In a scene straight out of the Jungle Book, a wild leopard broke into the Vibgyor International School in Banglore, India and went on a 10-hour rampage, attacking employees who were trying to tranquilize the animal before it was subdued. The beautiful leopard was thought to be six years old, having wandered into the school from the nearby forest. It was taken to a wildlife preserve for treatment.
In India, big cat attacks have increased tenfold in recent years due to development. In 2015, three people were killed by tigers in the territorial forests of Central India as well as another in January.
